There is a place for everyone in your family at Hollins Road Church of the Brethren! Here is a list of our current ministries and groups. Feel free to check out when we meet and what’s going on in each ministry!
Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Fellowship is dedicated to spreading the Good News of Christ and benefitting our local church and community through work and Christian activities outlined by the local Virlina Church of the Brethren District. The Men’s Fellowship is involved in local projects such as Project Warm, a group dedicated to chopping wood to help heat homes during the winter months for those that need it. They also work throughout the US on Disaster Mission Trips after natural disasters occur and towns and people need rebuilding. The Men’s Fellowship meets most every first Saturday of the month at 8 am at Famous Anthony’s at Brookside in Roanoke, VA. All are invited to attend!
Women’s Ministry
The Lord’s Helpers is a quilting group that quilts as a fundraiser as well as making donations of quilts to charitable organizations like the Rescue Mission. The Lord’s Helpers meet to quilt and tack on most Monday’s and Thursday’s from 9 am – noon. They also have a monthly meeting with a carry-in lunch and business meeting. A great group of ladies working for good causes as well as for the Lord.

BAND OF BRETHREN
The Band of Brethren was formed in 2007 in order to witness to others through their musical talents. They have performed at local senior/nursing home facilities, local churches and Camp Bethel. The Band is always looking for someone to back up. If you have a song in your heart that needs to be expressed the Band of Brethren can help. Practice time is typically at church on Saturday mornings at 10 am.
